• Do you brew beer?
As of October 2022, we have stopped brewing beer at The Side Lot. We occasionally collaborate with various local breweries on special re-releases of the Side Lot Brewery beers. Our draft list is always filled with favorite craft beers from around Illinois. You can always see what is on tap here.
• Are reservations required?
We always recommend making a reservation to ensure you have a table ready when you arrive. Reservations are required to reserve Backyard Curling. You can make reservations here.
Can you tell me more about Backyard Curling?
This winter, The Side Lot launched Backyard Curling. We have two curling sheets and offer League Play, Hourly rentals, pop-up tournaments, private parties, and fundraising events. To learn more about Backyard Curling, click here.
• Are dogs allowed at The Side Lot?
We do NOT allow dogs in the taproom or the Backyard during the winter. Look for an announcement on when our furry friends
are welcomed back in the spring.
• Are kids allowed in The Side Lot?
Yes, Kids are allowed in the Taproom daily until 8p. Children must remain seated or within reach of an adult at all times. After 8p, all venues are 21+ unless otherwise specified. For safety reasons, you must be 12+ to participate in Curling; an adult must supervise players under 18 at all times. After 8 p.m., Curling reservations are for 21+ only.
• Do you have food?
Yes! We have fantastic food options. You can view our menu by clicking ‘Menus’ above.
• Are the Video Gaming machines open?
Yes.
• Can we order outside food?
With the launch of our food menu, we no longer allow any outside food, including Slyce Coal Fired Pizza.
• Can I host an event at Side Lot?
Absolutely! We offer events for groups of 10 - 120 people. You can find all of the details here: Groups & Events.
• Is smoking allowed in the Backyard?
There is no smoking in the Backyard. Smoking in the test will result in a $100 cleaning fee and the forfeiture of your remaining reservation times. There is a smoking area located in the parking lot.
